SULUMANI “Sulu” Chimbetu will continue with his Matabeleland tour when he takes his act to Club Vegas in Bulawayo next Saturday.

The dendera superstar, who put on a superb show last week in Plumtree, will perform at a show dedicated to his late father Simon “Chopper” Chimbetu. Sulu’s manager Joe Nyamungoma confirmed the show yesterday saying he will play renditions of his father’s songs.
“I would like to tell our fans in Bulawayo that we will be dating them next week and Sulu will play renditions that he remixed from his father’s works,” he said.
Nyamungoma said the show will cater for revellers from all age groups. “The show is meant to incorporate the old and the young. Sulu will be the one who will unify these two different generations and age groups through his music,” he said.
Sulu’s career started in 1996. He became a professional musician in 2005 when he collaborated with his late father.
