AFTER a short, unsuccessful stint with champions Dynamos, striker Francisco Zekumbawira is heading back to his former club Hwange.

Zekumbawira, who joined Hwange from Zifa Bulawayo Province Division Two side Zim Leopards, was shown the door at Dynamos together with Allan Tavariswa and defender Bryan Madzokere — who has also been sidelined due to injury. The heavily-built striker was on a season’s loan to DeMbare and Hwange administrator Khumbulani Mbano yesterday confirmed that they were reregistering the player with the club.
“We are registering him. He has a contract with Hwange that runs until December 2014,” Mbano said. Zekumbawira only played five matches for Dynamos after he was loaned to the champions for a season for $16 000. Hwange will be hoping that the forward will help them in their effort to survive relegation.
Also bouncing back from injury is Chicken Inn striker Evans Chikwaikwai, who has been reregistered by the GameCox after he failed to turn out for the club in the first half of the season.
Chicken Inn had sought to loan Hardlife Mavundi to big city brothers Highlanders in the mid-season transfer window period, but that did not come into fruition.
Bosso have laid their hands on the returning pair of Master Masitara and Tinashe Chipunza who are making a comeback to the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League from Botswana.
Masitara was at Nico United and played for Railstars in the local league while Chipunza, who was at Miscellaneous, joined the Botswana side from Motor Action.
