Maguvu was admitted unconscious at Parirenyatwa Hospital’s intensive care unit after the accident on April 21 2011. He was in a coma at the ICU before he regained consciousness on May 11.
He was, however, still unable to speak, walk or feed himself and could only make slight body movements. Last week he was revived through cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at home and then admitted into the High Dependency Unit where it was confirmed that he had pneumonia and a urinary infection before passing away on Wednesday.
