The going has been tough for the border town side albeit having played well at home in Beitbridge. With only a paltry 16 points from 18 matches, Tripple B have to start winning and collecting maximum points if they are to remain in the premiership, as they precariously perch on position two from the bottom, two points ahead of Motor Action who also appear headed for demotion.

Manoti said tomorrow’s game in itself will be self motivational and hopes his new players will make a mark against the Sunshine City Boys leading the pack with 37 points.

“Hosting log leaders is very motivating. The players have the game to themselves. We will just encourage them here and there, but I know everyone wants to beat a team that is on top. I have a very healthy squad and I am hopeful that that new players that we have acquired will make a difference,” Manoti, who replaced Friday Phiri at Tripple B, said.

Tripple B have brought in the biggest contingent of players in the mid-season transfer window, bringing in seven players to make their intentions known that they want to remain in top-flight action.

They have been joined by former Monomotapa striker Makai Kawashu who comes from as far as Nothern Division One side ZPC Kariba, Forward Makambanga from Flame Lily, Julius Daudi and Dion Homela from Chicken Inn Blessing Mazorodze (Power Masters), Obey Hunduza from FC Platinum and also registered from their ranks Shepherd Sithole.

Harare City have only brought in one player Munyaradzi Kunyarimwe from Shabanie Mine. Head coach Bigboy Mawiwi said he has lots of respect for Tripple B.

“We really respect Tripple B, they have played very well in the last few games and we will be away from home. We are just going to approach this game like any other game. We cannot talk about the championship, it’s too early to say anything with fixtures coming out haphazardly, but after five games, I am sure I will have something to say,” Mawiwi added.

They travel to Harare without midfielder Silas Songani who joined them yesterday from the Warriors, but could not train because of an ankle injury.

Osborne Mukuradare, a goal behind leading scorer Tendai Ndoro with 10, will be leading City’s attack tomorrow against Tripple B. The last time the two sides met in Harare on May 26, Harare City dismissed Tripple B 2-0.

Fixtures Tomorrow: Monomotapa v Hwange (Rufaro), FC Platinum v Caps United (Mandava), Tripple B v Harare City (Dulibadzimu), Chicken Inn v How Mine (Barbourfields) Thursday: Shabanie Mine v Buffaloes (Maglas), Dynamos v Motor Action (Rufaro), Triangle United v Black Rhinos (Gibbo), Black Mambas FC v Highlanders (Morris Depot)
