Nine schools drawn from seven districts will converge at Gebhuza for the tournament.

The hosts, Hwange High and Nechibi (Hwange district), Gloag (Bubi), Hlangabeza of Nkayi district, Nyamandlovu of Mguza, Mavela of Tsholotsho and Mabhikwa High of Lupane will fight for the ticket to represent the province next week in Harare.

Gebhuza, who stunned Mabhikwa in last year’s provincial finals, will face stiff challenge from schools like Mavela and Gloag who are this year’s favourites. The teams made it to the provincial finals from the zonal level.

Lunguza Ndlovu, the provincial head in charge of football for Nash told Southern Eye Sport that the team that will win the tournament will represent the province in the National Under-20 football tournament to be held in Harare on September 27.
