NTUTU Sparrows ran riot in the Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Netball Association League following their 47-23 victory over Fairbridge away on Saturday.

Sparrows are top of the log table with 39 points from 13 games while Fairbridge are on position seven with 21 points from the same number of games.

Second-placed Jumbo Queens thumped Zimpost 75-24 in another game played at One Brigade.

Jumbo Queens trail log leaders Ntutu Sparrows by three points although they are three games ahead.

Railstars moved up to position three from five after toppling Mighty Queens, beating them 39-24 at Raylton Sports Club.

Mighty Queens slipped to fourth position with 30 points from 11 games while Railstars have 33 points from 12 games.

The win was a good result for Railstars trying to keep pace with the two top teams in the league.

Bottom-placed TelOne were again on the receiving end getting a 70-2 drubbing at the hands of Free Stars.

TelOne remain winless in the league after 13 games while Free Stars are on position 10 with 12 points from seven games.

Other games pitting Phakamani against Lobengula Queens, Sobukhazi High School against Old Nic were postponed.

Ntabazinduna Prison tie against Zesa as well as ZRP Ntabazinduna against Kensington, will be played at a later date after they were also postponed.

Sobukhazi has also found the going tough in the league as they are yet to win a single game this season.
