Speaking at the official opening of the Bakwayi Feed Lot under Chief Bakwayi in Kezi’s Ward 13, Ncube said villagers put a lot into fattening their cattle only to be cheated by urban-based buyers.

“These feeda lots are your industry and you are employing yourselves,” he said.

“The day you sell your cattle invite me so that I see how much these buyers are paying. If they are cheating you I will block those buyers and we will not allow any buyer from Bulawayo to come and buy cattle here until they offer to buy our cattle at a good price.”
