Bulawayo Chiefs top the log table with 60 points from 28 games after playing a goalless draw with Bantu Rovers in Plumtree on Saturday.

Black Boots are second on the log table with 55 points although they have three games in hand.

The police side will play Ntabazinduna Prison in Ntabazinduna tomorrow.

Their weekend match against Black Boots was postponed as Ntabazinduna Prison had travelled to Botswana to participate in the Inter-State Prison Services Tournament at the weekend.

Black Boots head coach Kudzai Mututa told Southern Eye Sport that his side was not under pressure.

“We are not under pressure. We will play all our remaining games normally because we are not worried about playing in the top-flight league.

“Football is all about enjoying, so we are playing it to enjoy not to be promoted to the Premier Soccer league. We do not have adequate funds to compete in the league,” Mututa said.

If Black Boots win tomorrow against Ntabazinduna they will move to 58 points, closing the gap to two points.

In the remaining games to wrap the season up, Black Boots still have a chance to play in the top-flight league if they win all their remaining games against Mpumalanga and ZPC Hwange.

Chiefs are likely to get three points on a walkover as Mkosana, their next opponents, have been inactive as they were yet to pay affiliation fees.

If they get the three points, Chiefs will be on 63 points while the Hwange Juniors match will be their last encounter for this season.
