Last week, Highlanders handed Stars a 140-33 drubbing before thrashing Kaos 121-43. After winning their match against Giants, Highlanders moved to the top spot ahead of Unicorns who were not scheduled for Saturday fixtures.

Unicorns recorded their first defeat of the season narrowly losing to Oilers 50-51 in their previous match. Kaos were in their second consecutive defeat, losing 48-76 in the hands of Kings who rubbed salt into their wounds after they succumbed to a 107-62 pounding in the hands of Southern Mavericks in the previous games.

ALCC bounced back from the last week 46-34 beating by Mavericks to overcome Lords 47-39. After giving away 20 points to Milton, failing to turn up for the game on time, Oilers had a quick recovery beating Stars 93-24.

In the women’s league Giants’ complications continued as they failed to fulfill their fixtures scheduled against Lakers and Oilers.

The future seems to be doom for the Giants women’s team as they have missed four fixtures so far. In other games, Mavericks got 20 points for their match against Oilers as their opponents did not show up for the game, before beating Hawks 61-27.
