Afro-pop legend, Patricia Majalisa is back and has promised to put up a top drawer performance when she performs in Bulawayo and Hwange this weekend.

POPULAR South African Afro-pop female legend, Patricia Majalisa is back and has promised to put up a top drawer performance when she performs in Bulawayo and Hwange respectively this weekend. SINDISO DUBE OWN CORRESPONDENT

The two shows dubbed “Music Explosion” will see the musician performing on Friday night at the Bulawayo Amphitheatre before rounding off her act at the colliery stadium in Hwange.

In an interview with Southern Eye Lifestyle Majalisa said: “I am promising our fans lots of fun. Zimbabwe loves me and I have to return the favour.”

The songstress added that she would perform old and new songs and belt out songs from her recent albums Akulalwa and Ephatini. “The albums are all about having fun and living life to the fullest and responsibly,” Majalisa added.

The South African would be supported by South Africans Mpendulo Dandile, S’lindile Mthinyane and Thabile Mazolwane.

Kingstone Lussate, one of the organisers echoed the same sentiments with Majalisa.

“We are raring to go, all music lovers should be ready for an explosion,”

“We have titled it ‘Music Explosion’ because we feel that it’s going to be a banger and will put people in the festive season mood,” Lussate said.

Majalisa’s songs that have mesmerised many include her Dalom Kids songs Nomathemba and Uwee Uwee (Umqophoqopho) which has been received well by many of her legion of fans in the region and beyond.
