I WOULD like to believe that you could have possibly read a story in one of the international bestselling books entitled Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

In this book, Kiyosaki narrates a story about a certain village which was seriously affected by drought such that people and animals were about to die because of an acute shortage of water.


A certain men called Ed acted decisively to avert the water crisis and started collecting empty buckets and fetching water from a faraway lake. He would bring it and sell to his people.

However, he failed to satisfy the high demand for water. Consequently, he hired his sons to help him fetch more water so as to meet the ever increasing demand of this priceless natural resource.

Sadly, Ed could not quench the thirst of his people in spite of the combined efforts of him and his entire family.

However, another man called Bill, seeing that there was no end in sight to the water woes decided to create a pipeline that would automatically draw the water from the lake and supply the village 24/7.

Bill’s wise endeavour immediately ended the water plight.

He became an instant millionaire from the money he was paid on every single day from the water sales.

What is the moral behind this story?

Precisely, Bill had designed a system/pipeline that would draw water from the lake and supply the village 24/7, while giving him a non-stop cash supply into his bank account. However, Ed didn’t have an effective system to compliment his efforts that’s why he worked hard, but at the end of the day he had nothing to show for his efforts.

I guess Ed eventually quit the water business as a deeply frustrated and a miserable man!

So in your network marketing business, having an effective marketing system/strategy is a pre-requisite for your success because an effective marketing pipeline has a multiplication effect on your business results.

The system should do the sifting and sorting of prospects for you, such that it can get rid of all the people who are not interested in your business opportunity and only gives you a non-stop supply of high quality prospects and customers who are more than ready to listen to the business presentation and even willing to take a massive action on your offers.

The marketing system I am talking about is called the attraction marketing system because it helps you to attract an endless number of highly interested leads (people) to you.

What I am about to tell you now is super important, so pay attention!

Yes, your multi-level marketing (MLM) company may have a killer product and the best compensation plan in the world and then you wonder why you are not succeeding.

The truth is that there is nothing wrong with you and your company products and compensation plan. However, the only missing link is failure to have an effective marketing system that generates leads and sales for your products.

In short, your marketing system should expose you to a crowd that has been searching for your solutions long before you even came into the picture. These people (ie your target market) will be more than willing to gladly pay you for the solution you are offering them, which is your company products and the business opportunity.

However, I strongly believe that you won’t regret if you settle for the attraction marketing strategy as your winning formula. The ball is in your court.

I humbly advise you to develop a marketing system or pipeline that links you directly with the people who need your products/business opportunity. By so doing you will double or triple your income overnight and certainly leave your fellow distributors in your MLM company scratching their heads wondering; how did you make it?
