Bosso’s 2014 squad almost complete

The Highlanders squad for the 2014 Premier Soccer League is almost complete with two slots remaining following their weekend signing of Warriors trio Charles Sibanda, Milton Ncube and Peter “Rio” Moyo.

Bosso are now left with the two slots as they still chase for the signature of another Warriors player and Chicken Inn skipper Felix Chindungwe and the possible loan deal with speedy attacking left linkman Kudakwashe Mahachi, who also played for Chicken Inn last year and is now a Mamelodi Sundowns players.

Although Mahachi denied that he had signed with Sundowns after he arrived from South Africa last week, Bantu Rovers secretary Wilbert Sibanda on Saturday said the left-footed linkman now belonged to the Brazilians.

“We cannot comment on the player now as he now belongs to Sundowns,” Sibanda said on Saturday.

Chindungwe is hopeful of signing with Bosso anytime soon and was due to meet with his manager Sanangurai Mushove later yesterday to further discuss his next move as the manager has been outside the country.

“I am having a meeting later with my manager, who was outside the country and as it stands everything looks okay,” Chindungwe said yesterday. However, Chindungwe’s deal could hit a snag as Chicken Inn have said any club that wants the dreadlocked defender should approach them as he is still contractually tied to the club. Club chairman Lifa Ncube, who was watching the How Mine versus Chuoni FC Caf Confederation Cup tie at Barbourfields Stadium on Saturday said: “He (Chindungwe) is still our player and any club that wants him should approach us.”
