Cont Mhlanga, the director of Amakhosi Culture and Heritage Tours, said yesterday the Bulawayo cultural calendar, the first for any city in this country, will be distributed via Zimbabwean, African and international websites owned by various organisations and companies that support the global marketing of the city of Bulawayo.

“The annual city calendar is expected to place the city’s prime events on the international planning calendars of world travellers as a way of promoting the events gradually each year to the benefit of businesses and artists operating in the city of Bulawayo,” said Mhlanga.

“We encourage every individual Zimbabwean and all the event organisers to distribute the calendar far and wide in their own platforms and networks,” he said, adding that taking the lead in driving the cultural calendar campaign globally is Amakhosi Cultural Tours and its partners.
