The league resumes this weekend after BBA were kicked out of Northlea High School last week. Spokesperson Howard Pangwana said it was a huge relief for BBA getting Bulawayo Municipal Sports Club.

Pangwana said they had secured the new venue courtesy of basketball coach Durrell Adams and Sinda Mano.

“We are going to have our basketball this weekend but we have been given things that need to be done. We need to install flood lights and have sitting terraces at the place. But for this weekend we will play our games. Last week’s postponement of the games did not interrupt our programme. We are way beyond in the second of the season on Cycle 14 and we will finish with Cycle 22. We are well on track to finish the league on time,” Pangwana said.

Pangwana on Sunday said they had been kicked out of Northlea on short notice and they were making frantic efforts to get an alternative venue.

BBA had moved to Northlea High after the closure of the traditional home of basketball in the city, Bulawayo Courts for the Disabled (BCD).
