Your attitude is everything

OUT of millions of sperm that compete to fertilise the ovum only one sperm is supposed to “outrun” the rest and hit the target.

OUT of millions of sperm that compete to fertilise the ovum only one sperm is supposed to “outrun” the rest and hit the target.

The rules of the game are that if a sperm takes position number two and below, it is supposed to perish. So the only way that can guarantee the survival of the racing sperm is being position one.

This is the stiffest competition ever, that occurred during the time you and I were being conceived, but thank heavens because only one sperm “outran” the rest and succeeded to fuse with the ovum with the end result of this process being the formation of you and me.

The moral behind the above scenario is that God created you as a winner right from conception. But your attitude after birth has either built or destroyed you.

So, if you despise yourself and you have a low self-esteem, you are literally telling God that he created you as a substandard human being.

I strongly believe that this is a huge insult to Him!

Attitude is the deciding factor on how big or small your dreams will be and also how quickly you will achieve them. It is impossible to have a bad attitude and make progress in life at the same time.

A negative attitude is more dangerous than a virus. It “kills” you and buries you alive.

It stops you from picking up a phone and calling your clients telling them about a great business opportunity or making a follow-up call.

People’s attitude largely decides how they approach life on a day-to-day basis. Your attitude, more than your aptitude will determine your altitude.

Yes, people — particularly friends and relatives — can make you think that you are nobody and unfortunately, you find yourself believing in those lies, leading to failure in everything you do because of subscribing to the prophecy of doom.

I would like to make it clear to you that, people, especially those who are very close to us, may drive negative energy into you, but the honest truth is that no one can control your attitude unless you allow it.

Eagles avoid the rain by flying above the clouds when other birds seek shelter. This means that you should learn to stand above your challenges and stumbling blocks through a positive mental attitude.

Unlock your personal potential by believing in yourself. When you want to do something, do it now because procrastination is the enemy of success.

Jim Rohn in one of his articles says: “The combination of a sound personal philosophy and a positive attitude about ourselves and the world around us gives us the inner strength and a firm resolve that influences all other areas of our existence.”

So make it a point that the outside of you is a pure reflection of the inside of you!
