ZIMBABWE’S top goalscorer for the 2013 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) season, Tendai Ndoro grabbed a brace for his new South African club Mpumalanga Black Aces as they beat Moroka Swallows 5-2 in a seven-goal thriller at KaNyamazane Stadium on Saturday.

Ndoro was on target twice together with Abia Nale with the other goal coming from Miguel Timm.

It was a good game for the Warriors gunman, notching the brace ahead of Mpumalanga’s next tough match at home against wounded Orlando Pirates at Mbombela Stadium tomorrow.

Pirates fell 0-1 to Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday at the FNB Stadium in the Soweto derby with another Zimbabwean Willard Katsande finding the winner for Chiefs.

Ndoro has now banged in three goals for AmaZayoni since he started playing for them in January.

He scored the first when Aces beat Maritzburg United 2-1 at Mbombela Stadium last month.

The lanky Warriors striker opened the score line in the 23rd minute at KaNyamazane and found his second in the 62nd minute.

AmaZayoni are on position nine with 30 points on the Absa PSL table and a win against Pirates tomorrow could catapult them upwards ahead of the Wednesday results of the matches pitting SuperSport-Platinum Stars, AmaZulu-Polokwane City and Maritzburg United-Bloemfontein Celtic.

Ndoro penned a one-year contract with Mpumalanga from Chicken Inn where he was top goalscorer last year with 18 goals.

He signed the contract mid-last season, but could not join the South African outfit due to incomplete paperwork that saw him return to finish the local season back on loan to Chicken Inn.

He was also selected among the country’s 11 Castle Lager soccer stars.

Ndoro has also played his game in the beMobile Premier League in Botswana.
