The video also achieved another milestone when it was played on Channel O.

Black Bird said she is happy that she continues to break new ground as a female rapper representing local hip-hop genre.

“This video is not only breaking barriers for me, but also for my country. On this video, I used my experience in film and television production to produce and co-direct it,” Black Bird said.

“I want to thank the team that I worked with to create such a product of international standards who include Bulawayo-based Trey Ncube and Naboth Rizla, Joe Zangure and Tatea Da MC who played the role of my love interest.”

Black Bird urged local musicians to strive to make productions of international quality.

“If you are trying to compete with local artistes only, you will not achieve the globally accepted standard because Zimbabwean standards are not always acceptable elsewhere,” Black Bird said.

The love themed video tells a love story that unfolds between Black Bird and Tatea Da MC.

The song provides a combination of soulful melodies and hard-core Hip-hop bars.

Some of the videos that also feature on the show are Celebrate from Daara J Family of Senegal, Killing Time by Luka Lesson featuring Candice Monique of Australia, Message of Hope from Wageble of Senegal, Makeshift Kingdom from Sweatshop Union of Canada and Straight Street from Omar Offendum.
