The election had to go for a run-off after Dube failed to garner a two thirds majority in the first round getting 34 votes against Juul’s 14, Leslie Gwindi (10) and former board member (marketing) Nigel Munyati (0) from the 58 delegates who voted.

Zimbabwe Soccer Player Agents Association chairman Omega Sibanda, who relinquishes that post, was voted vice-president after narrowly beating Highlanders board member Elkanah Dube 30-28.

The four board members elected this afternoon are Tavengwa Hara (51), Benard Gwarada (48), John Phiri (42), Fungai Chihuri 41 while Gladmore Muzambi fell out with 32 votes.
