The show is slated for Horizon Pub and Restaurant on Saturday.
Misheck Ndala, the director of African Buzz Events told Southern Eye Lifestyle that 17 designers from Bulawayo were invited to showcase their designs.
“The show is an opportunity to market local designers to the public and for the public to be well versed on local fashion designers, their work and where to locate these designers,” Ndala said.
The fashion show supports local products and only local designs will be exhibited.
“We used our own local models and designs to advertise this event, we want to debunk the myth that if one wants to succeed in the fashion industry they have to hire international models or use international designs to advertise,” he added.
The designers will have an opportunity to interact with fashion enthusiasts and share the inspiration behind the designs.
Ndala promised fashion lovers a dazzling show to remember with designs that cater for the sophisticated, trendy, quirky, mono-tonal, elmo, gothic, rock chic, grunge, plain, vintage, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, block, feminine, masculine, bohemian, military, sporty, glamorous, nautical, colour blocking, safari and netallics.
