ZDF Queens slipped to position five from two with 12 points from seven games following the defeat. The champions had gone for six games unbeaten, but failed to collect points in their seventh game of the season.

Despite collecting maximum points, Glow Petroleum are on position nine with 10 points from six games having lost one game so far.

It was a busy weekend for log leaders Hwange Colliery as the coal mining team collected maximum points in the three games they played.

Hwange beat ZRP Harare Central 36-22 in the first encounter, dismissed Airforce 53-26 at Manyame Airbase before wrapping up by registering a 46-9 victory over Support Unit at Support Unit in Harare.

Mambas Queens were in a narrow victory garnering maximum points in the 31-29 victory over Warthog in Chitungwiza.
