The event was marked by a roadshow that covered the central business district, Bellevue, Nkulumane, Entumbane, Mpopoma, Nketa and Luveve.

Gordon Pemba, the National Foods brand manager said the competition had been introduced to reward loyal customers.

“This promotion presents an opportunity for our consumers to be rewarded for buying Red Seal Super Roller Meal,” he said.

“The mechanics are simple and one person can be a winner more than once. We have placed tokens at random in 10kg and 20kg bags of Red Seal Super Roller Meal, and as such these tokens are sitting and waiting to be found.

“As we progress more and more of the tokens will be inserted into the participating packs (at random). These tokens have written on them different prizes ranging from cash, gas stoves and canisters, microwaves, Red Seal temp bags (cooking bags), school fees vouchers, to mention but a few.”

The promotion, which kicked off on September, 15 runs until December 15.

“It’s an opportunity for the nation to once again win courtesy of the Red Seal brand,” Pemba added.
