The single titled Ngeke is part of music projects she was working on in Johannesburg after one month and two weeks down South.

The ethno-soul diva returned home came on Monday after spending most her time in the studio working on the track Ngeke with producer DJ Face.

The track was released online two days ago and most people seem to have fallen in love with.

Speaking to the Southern Eye Lifestyle, Thandy expressed happiness about her latest release, adding that the track was fully baked, saying she took her quality time working on it. She claimed the track was already making waves in South Africa.

“I am extremely happy with this track as it is my first effort this year. I hope people will enjoy the track and what l like most is that my music seems to appeal to both the young and the old,” Dhlana said.

“Ngeke is a song about a woman in love, but her parents do not like her choice. It’s a social issue which is so common, but sometimes women cannot stand to defend their heart’s interests due to fear of being disowned and kicked out of families. The idea is groovy and the message can be shared while people enjoy a good time speaking to those who hide their feelings,” she said.

“We have managed to get South Africa excited and they are so in love with this track.

“The track is getting momentum so fast and most people think it’s Black Coffee’s latest track. I have showed them that we Zimbabweans are capable of doing it and, yeah, my work speaks for itself.

“It’s an opportunity for Bulawayo to be put on the map by simple appreciation of a good product. I am currently opening doors in South Africa and l am glad to be working with my partners, Maximum Stylez and we are doing big productions with Khuli Chana, Tow Dee Mac of Morafe, just to mention a few. I am expanding my territory without selling out who l am. I am proud to be a Zimbabwean and l will not hide it. They work with me because they trust my work. Enjoy my latest offering and God bless my nation,” she said.

In addition, Thandy said she looked forward to stage live shows to Bulawayo and South Africa.
