Last week, Glow Petroleum collected six points dismissing Support Unit 55-20, beating Mambas 53-29 before thumping Black Rhinos 54-0.

Following their win Glow Petroleum moved one step up from position three to second spot with 48 points from 26 games while inactive Tenax Queens slipped down to third spot.

Despite winning 25-15 against Black Rhinos and 59-25 against Warthog, ZDF Queens remained on fourth position with 48 points from 25 games.

ZDF Queens are fourth because of an inferior goal difference. Nehanda Nyakasikana’s fine run continued when they beat Warthog 47-27 in Harare on Saturday.

The former champions have been impressive in the league together with title holders ZDF Queens as they are the only teams that have suffered one defeat each this season.

It was a tough task for Warthog as they faced two of the toughest teams in the league this weekend.

Stanbic lost 29-31 to Corngold in Gweru on Saturday, but came back a better side on Sunday when they beat ZPC Hwange 25-18 in Harare.

It was the same scenario for Mambas Queens following their 32-38 loss to Black Rhinos on Saturday before they collected maximum points after they thumped Mutare Polytechnic 70-18 in Mutare on Sunday.

Log leaders Zimpost were inactive this weekend while struggling bottom-placed teams Support Unit, ZRP Midlands and Jumbo were also out of action.
