The Zimbabwe Music Awards (Zima) in conjunction with Hunnar Management Agency will on Friday hold a party to celebrate Bulawayo nominees ahead of the awards ceremony slated for October 29.

Zima awards would be held at the the Harare International Conference Centre.
The Bulawayo event dubbed Zima Nominees Party would be held at Horizon Bar and Restaurant this Friday with hosts Gilmore Tee and Mbo Mahocs.
Zima marketing and public relations executive Kjanya Ndlovu told Southern Eye Lifestyle the event was organised to celebrate the feat by the artistes.
“The event is open to the public to mingle with and celebrate artistes who are now celebrities in their own right,” she said.
“They have been nominated for a huge accolade and it is important that they celebrate even if some might not get an award.”
One of the nominees Mzobanzi Mlauzi, aka Mzoe7, said they felt honoured that Bulawayo would be celebrating its achievers.

“People should expect the best of creativity from Bulawayo artistes,” he said.
“We will get a chance to mingle with people who made us who we are, that is our fans.
“Bulawayo Zima nominees will be united performing under one roof and this is not an event to be missed.”
The party would start at 7pm and artistes such as Skaiva, Mzoe 7, Defined House, Djembe Monks, Alaina, Black Umfolosi, Franco Man, Obadiah Matulana, Andy Cutta and Klapp are scheduled to perform.
Those who will attend stand a chance to win tickets to the Zima event in Harare.
