STRIKER Lloyd Katongomara scored a last gasp goal to give Buffaloes a crucial win against Harare City in a Castle Lager Premier League match played at Sakubva Stadium yesterday.

It was the second home win for Moses Chunga who replaced Luke Masomere, with only one loss against Dynamos out of the three matches played so far in Mutare.

Buffaloes scored thrice through Admire Dzumbunu in the 20th, Jacob Muzokomba in the 65th minute and Katongomara 90th minute while Harare City, who were first on the scoresheet, got their two goals from through James Jam in the 15th minute and Osborne Mukuradare in 77th minute.

Chunga, who was under pressure following his defeat by Dynamos at his last encounter, was happy with the result.

“Obviously, when you are in murky waters and get a positive result you must be cheerful,” he said.

His opposite number Masimba Dinyero blamed the loss to a number of missed chances by his strikers and the state of the pitch.
