Provincial executive member Nacisio Makhulumo announced the motion against Ndlovu and five provincial members at the party’s Davis Hall offices.

The other members purportedly kicked out were vice-chairperson Christopher Dube, secretary for administration Elifasi Mashaba, secretary for finance Charles Chiponda, secretary for commissariat Canaan Ncube and secretary for security Nicholas Mhlanga.

It was announced that George Mlala, who fronts the war veterans’ elders group, would be the acting chairperson.

Former provincial chairman Isaac Dakamela, who was ironically ousted to make way for Ndlovu, accompanied Makhulumo as he made his announcement.

Ndlovu and his executive are accused of dictatorial tendencies and misappropriating funds from the sale of party cards.

The Bulawayo chairman was also accused of having a defeatist attitude after he said all metropolitan provinces in the region were controlled by the opposition and it was not a coincidence that Zanu PF lost to MDC-T.

The mortal sin, however, is that they were accused of failing to provide transport for First Lady Grace Mugabe’s Bulawayo rally.

Grace’s entry into politics has had a severe domino effect, with anyone perceived to be failing to support her being given the boot.

However, Ndlovu rubbished his ouster, saying it had been moved by war collaborators, who are not in the executive.

“I am told that Makhulumo called ZTV and Chronicle and addressed them, we have nothing to do with it,” he said.

“We cannot comment on fiction.”

Ndlovu’s deputy, Dube, said he had received a call about the gathering.
