THE new Miss Environment Zimbabwe will be crowned next Friday at the Hartsfield Sports Club where a bevy of 18 models will fight for the crown.

Green For Life president Briaton Takunda told journalists on Monday the finalists would go for a boot camp from November 26 to 28 at Beuna Vista Lodge.
“We are looking for an ambassador who will become a voice of the environment,” he said.
“She will become the face of environment apart of being the beauty queen. We will also have a run out where we will have Miss Climate, Miss Global Warming, and Miss Anti-Air Pollution.”
Judges include Thandiwe Chingozho, Peter Matika, Nontokozo Dube, Innocent Kufa, Naledi Kulube and Maidei Makope.
Zwakele Ndlovu and Pax Gomo, Nash and Mic Carter will host the event while 3D Events will entertain the crowd.
Green for Life will also be launching corporate environment awards targeting companies supporting the environment.
