Early this month, the airline launched an inaugural Harare-Johannesburg flight where it is charging $89 (including taxes) for a one way trip.
The route was flyAfrica’s second after they started flying between Johannesburg and Victoria Falls about a month ago.
“Zimbabwe-flyAfrica have announced that they will start flying between Johannesburg and Bulawayo from the 2nd of March 2015.
“The airline will also launch Zimbabwean domestic flights between Victoria Falls and Harare, with the first flight taking off on the 1st of December 2014,” part of a notice on the company’s website reads.
Speaking recently at the official launch of the Harare-Johannesburg flight, Transport and Infrastructural Development deputy minister Petronella Kagonye said the government was delighted that flyAfrica had expanded its route network following its maiden flight to Victoria Falls.
Kagonye said the group was bringing low-cost, reliable and safe service to the people of Zimbabwe and beyond.
