The one-day business seminar would be hosted at Wealthy Word Church premises located at number 10 Walbrook Road, Thorngrove, Bulawayo, industrial site.

One of the organisers of the business summit, Jonah Nyoni said the business gathering is meant to bring forward thinking “in terms of how we conduct business in Bulawayo.

You would agree that we have encountered hard times in business, but that should not pin us to the canvas.”

“We should embrace new thought lines, and find creative, innovative and relevant means of conducting business. Tools and times keep changing, and there is need for a new breed of thinkers that would utilise those opportunities that come with change”.

Speakers at this business summit would include Whatmore Makwara from Swaziland, a founder and president of Enlightened Wealth Business Workshops which empowers people through practical tools of how to attain financial freedom.

Makwara is a business consultant and shareholder with many companies involved in network marketing. He has written five books and is a regular feature on radio and television.

Judge Dube, a bank manager with the FBC Bank and an author of the book, Gateway to Prosperity, is also lined up as one of the key speakers at the summit which will start at lunch-time.

The Wealthy Word Church business summit has since become an annual event for Bulawayo and last year Nigel Chanakira, Founder of Kingdom Bank, was the main speaker.
