Sibanda was on a season loan at relegated Shabanie Mine last season where he blossomed to become one of the best in the position and earned his first national team call up with the Warriors.

He was one of the standout performers at the Maglas Stadium-based side in the just- ended season and based on his performances, he won’t have difficulties slotting in the Highlanders team.

The Bulawayo giants did actually struggle for consistency in that position with Mthulisi Maphosa’s midfield prowess seemingly waning.

Sibanda’s return to Bosso was confirmed by Shabanie Mine secretary-general Pithias Shoko who also revealed the departure of another Bosso player Gift Saunyama “We have released them (Sibanda and Saunyama). They are no longer our players since their loan deal has expired. We are not going to extend their stay here because their parent club needs their services for next season,” Shoko said.

“They have already left and I understand they have both joined up with their teammates in Bulawayo,” confirmed Shoko.

While Bosso is busy assembling and strengthening their squad, it is not yet clear who will lead the technical department since the departure of Kelvin Kaindu in the later stages of the season.

Assistant coach Mark Mathe held fort after the Zambian’s departure, but failed dismally and the club has made it clear that they are looking for a new coach to guide them next season.
