Nyatsambe was involved in a head-on collision in May 2014 while coming from the Harare International Carnival. He was travelling with three other people in a Toyota Spacio when it collided with a Toyota Sprinter and overturned, but miraculously no one was injured.

Nyatsambe told Southern Eye Lifestyle that he had reflected on his life after that accident and come to the conclusion that the only reason he escaped from the accident unhurt was due to a higher power.

“The accident was serious, but I emerged out uninjured. It was not by our doing, but by the power of God. I am not supposed to be alive today, but Jesus saved us. After the accident, I released the song Tinofamba naMwari to appreciate him for what he did for me,” Nyatsambe said.

“I have released another song Tendai Mwari, which I will perform for the first time at Club Uptown in Gweru on January 31.

“These days I write gospel songs and if it is not gospel, then the song has to have a positive message. I will also present my other newly-released single Anywhere-mi-deh.”

Farai Kanengoni, aka Daddy Kane, who acquired Club Uptown in August 2014, confirmed that Nyatsambe would be performing at the venue on Saturday.

“This show will promote the club which we recently acquired. We also want to promote young Zim dancehall artistes who are going to be part of our line-up,” Kanengoni said.

“We are planning to bring more famed artistes such as Winky D and South African DJs to our club. Terminator will share the stage with other Zim dancehall artistes The Governor, Sergeant Smuggler of the hit song Siya Mapurati and chanter Mega,” he said.

Nyatsambe is expected to take to the stage at 8pm. Local DJs Whyte, 007, Fats and Skills would be on the decks before the Harare–based musician performs.
