Kombani Lodge manager Spencer Mderemani told Southern Eye Lifestyle that there was no better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the border town than their romantic event, which is aimed at affording lovers an opportunity to openly show their affection for each other.

“Each couple will only pay $25 and this will cover dinner and entertainment.  There will also be a competition where the first three couples will win prizes. The first prize will include one night at Kombani Lodge, including breakfast. The second prize will include dinner for the couple and the third prize will be a bottle of champaign,” Mderemani said.

“Full moons are strongly linked to relationships, romance and passion. Nothing can be more romantic for lovers than spending the night together under the full moon, which always brings romance and passion,” he said.

He added the event will start at 7pm till late and a variety of music would stimulate lovers’ affections.

The three-star Kombani Lodge is one of Matabeleland South’s hospitality hubs.
