Moyo beat the South African on a second round technical knockout in an Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) heavyweight bout marking a good start in his first fight of the year.

Southern Eye Sport yesterday spoke to Moyo from South Africa base on the Saturday fight.

“I still want at least three fights before I contest for the EFC heavyweight title. I want at least seven wins so that I get more experience,”

“The fight was good and it was a good day in office for  me,” he said.

“Cerenio never had a chance. His only option was to hold me and in the end he couldn’t. I am happy to have won this fight in my first appearance this year.

“I now have four wins and two losses in cage fights.”

Moyo said he had found cage fighting to be easier than boxing.

“Fighting is in my blood. In cage fighting you have many options.” he said.

“I can use my arms, kick or choke an opponent. The difference is that in boxing you have to concentrate and you have to be cautious because you can’t do something like hitting an opponent at the back of their head.”

Moyo said he was hoping to get more fights before going for the EFC heavyweight title.

“I still want at least three fights before I contest for the EFC heavyweight title. I want at least seven wins so that I get more experience,” said the World Boxing Federation Africa heavyweight champion.

Moyo was ecstatic over the victory and posted on  his social network Facebook account after his victory.

“I Just won my fight . . . technical knockout second round. Team Bomber marches on . . . Thanks for all the support,” he said.

Moyo last fought in November last year when he beat Knife Didier- Kolola in Cape Town, South Africa, while he had earlier in the year beaten Wilhelm  “Tiny” Straus.
