Ncube broke his leg last year towards his birthday after falling into a storm drain while avoiding a car, following a booze binge.

Ncube, who will be celebrating four years as a DJ, said the injury had given him time to reflect on his life while he recuperated.

“l will be turning 26 on Saturday and l am happy that God has been with me through ups and downs of life. I celebrated my birthday in a wheelchair last year and could not have a bash with fans. I want to thank those that came to spend the day with me,” Ncube said.

“I would like to inform revellers that I am back with a bang. People should come and witness the best birthday bash in Bulawayo this year.”

He said the day would be spiced up with performances by some Bulawayo artistes.

“Local artistes will perform on the day and l can promise it will be awesome. My group, Crazy Ghetto DJz, will be present on the day and will take turns to spin the decks,” he said.

Club 40-Forty entertainment manager Sibanengi Ndebele, aka DJ Mzoe, said they had lined up some of Bulawayo’s finest dance groups, artistes and deck spinners for the bash.

“Artistes from every corner of the city will come and share the happy moment with one of our colleagues DJ Sweeto.

“The event will start at 6pm till the wee hours of Sunday and we have tight security. People should come and enjoy,” he said.

According to Ndebele, among the artistes set to entertain revellers are Khoi Khoi, Teeko, Sean Milla and dance groups such as Ziyawa Queens New Life Musica, Dynamite Chicks, Izikhothane, Sungura Masters, and disc jockeys, Lady Oasis, Tawaz, Mzoe, Binnola, Khummz, Crazy Flavo and Phibz.
