The money raised at the auction would be donated to the poor.

TGH charity auction member Mbonisi Mahonondo, popularly known as Mbo Mahocs, said the organisation was formed from social network Twitter.

“It was started in Harare and some people in Bulawayo thought they could pick up the idea and use it,” she said.

“A lot of youths in Bulawayo with Twitter accounts came together and formed the organisation in a bid to help charities.”

The organisation started operating this year and there have been some activities it has conducted to help charity.

“However, this time as we are approaching the winter season, the organisation identified a place, and Home of Peace became our target,” she said.

“The organisation has decided to run a charity auction for them. “We looked for influential people to take part in the auction and they will be auctioned.”

Bidding will start at $5 and entry fees would be $3.

Females on auction will include ZWA, Brooke, Bathabile, Kya Drastiq, Mbo Mahocs, Lebo MMakola and Amanda Mutangandura.

Males on auction will include POY, Asaph, Pardon, Nkululeko Ncube, Ernest Mackina and Cal_Vin.
