The court heard that the woman, who could not be named to protect the victim’s identity, committed the offence at her employer’s home in Mkoba 15 on June 2.

The matter only came to light after the complainant’s brother spilled the beans to his mother when she came back home in the evening.

In his ruling, regional magistrate Morgan Nemadire said he considered that the woman had pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated indecent assault and showed remorse for her actions.

Nemadire also considered that the juvenile’s mother had pleaded with the court not to send the convict to prison as her son had not incurred any injuries from the sexual assault.
