FORMER Generations star Anga Makhubalo — known as MJ in the South African soap — says he is now focusing on his music career and has no regrets leaving acting. Makhubalo, who was in Bulawayo at the weekend for a Call Out Party at Horizon Pub and Grill,saluted Zimbabweans for supporting him in his acting career.

“I’m happy to be in Zimbabwe and thanks to everyone who has supported me from both my careers as an actor and a singer. I’m what I am because of your support.
I would like to thank everyone who has been following me,”Makhubalo said.
The multi-talented actor-cumsinger was born in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth. In 2009 he studied contemporary music at Damelin being taught by the likes of Benjy Mudie and RJ Benjamin. The lanky muso took to the stage after midnight and dished out several tracks.
However, his Call Out song was his trump card leaving an indelible mark on his fans.
“I don’t regret my past. All I’m saying is I’ve shifted my focus from acting to further my music career as I believe that music will propel me to greater heights,” he said at the sold-out show.
The artiste was backed by local DJs who kept the crowd entertained for more than five hours.

The “soldier” did not disappoint with his energetic dances and his unique voice that kept the crowd on their feet throughout the night.
