Bulawayo revellers are in for a treat this Saturday, as Horizon Bar and Restaurant host the Summer Carnival meant to welcome the summer season in style, according to one of the organisers, Joe Tha OG.

“The carnival is meant to welcome the summer season in a stylish way. We have a lot of stuff to offer, from music, models to accessories,” he said.
Models from Fashion Africa will strut their stuff on the ramp exhibiting different and trendy fashion wear.
The carnival will see a long list of Bulawayo’s top musicians Zimbabwe Music Awards (ZIMA) nominees TKP and Mzoe 7 of the Salibonani fame, POY and Guluva Seven as well as raunchy dancers, Twerk Team, entertaining guests.
Award-winning rapper POY spoke highly of the carnival. “This is a show not to miss, we are bringing all the energy this Saturday as we welcome summer. I will obviously belt out my summer and party tracks, Ke Summer and Sola Sola among other hits.
This will be an opportunity for me to sample new tracks.”

Mzoe 7 called on all “party lovers” to join the celebrations and be part of the show.
“We will use this opportunity to celebrate our ZIMA nomination,” he said.
“The nomination is for Bulawayo, so come let’s celebrate together.”
Accessories will be on sale during the carnival including free CD give aways.
