Moyo will entertain fans from his home town today at Hotel Tropicana, one of Utakataka Express’s favourite hunting grounds from the days the group was led by Peter’s late father and self acclaimed King of Sungura, Tongai Moyo.

This show will afford Dhewa’s music lovers the chance for the first time, to sample live music from the six-track album which has been received with mixed feelings from across the country.

Moyo said his group was more interested in improving its entertainment value to both new and old listeners of the Utakataka brand.

“We take all the views of our fans and critics seriously and sit down as a band to see how best we can continue to improve and add value to the Utakataka brand. I am here to ensure that there is value addition to entertainment we provide,” he said.

Utakataka Express has managed to maintain its legion of fans who fell in love with the late Samanyemba hit maker.

Enerst Mature, an avid fan, said although he was worried about Peter’s vocals, he was confident that he would improve as time goes on.

“He did not start like this, he was worse, his voice was all over the place, but he continues to improve for a person who never dreamt of being a musician, he is doing very well and we love it,” he added.
