Fungai Chadambuka (40) of Cowdray Park and Edmore Masava (31) of Pumula South appeared before local magistrate Sibongile Msipa facing charges of theft.

Prosecutor Masimba Saruwaka told the court that on May 23 the two accused, in the company of two others already in remand prison, — Shelton Gwatsvaira and Ezekia Ndodini (ages not given), went to corner 13th Avenue and Herbert Chitepo Street where they found a Toyota Corolla parked.

He said the car belonged to Partson Chandamira. Saruwaka said the four allegedly stole the vehicle.

Saruwaka said police received a tip-off, leading to Chadambuka’s arrest.
