HAZ president Tich Hwingwiri told Southern Eye Business on the sidelines of the provincial Heroes’ Day commemorations in Gweru on Monday that accommodation facilities had been renovated to create more rooms for delegates.

“Accommodation facilities have been revamped and more rooms have been created and I can assure the country that we are more than ready to host all the delegates,” he said.

Hwingwiri said delegates will be treated to first-class hospitality, adding that the renovated hotels and lodges had been inspected and meet expected standards.

He said most hoteliers had received bookings from delegates and ruled out any accommodation challenges. Zimbabwe and Zambia will be co-hosting the world tourism showcase.
