Party spokesperson Rugare Gumbo said the two will be buried at the national shrine, Heroes Acre possible on Sunday.

He said Zanu PF was yet to discuss with the Nkala and Karakadzai families about their burials.

He said Nkala was accorded the status because he made major contributions during the liberation struggle as founder of the Democratic Party as well as Zanu PF in 1960 and 1963 respectively.

Karakadzai was said to be a Zanla fighter and hard worker in re-organising NRZ.
