POPULAR South African Afro-pop and disco legend Patricia Majalisa is scheduled to perform in Bulawayo on October 5.

The songtress will be supported by fellow South Africans Mpendulo Dandile, Slindile Mthinyane and a Hwange-based musician, George Mbewe, at the Bulawayo Amphitheatre — organiser of the show John Kafuta confirmed.
“The South Africans will entertain fans and we promise a top-of-the-drawer act from them,” he said.
“The shows will be part of the many that we have lined up for Zimbabwe and we promise to lighten up the country this festive season.”
Majalisa commands a great following in the region as a solo artist, but many know her as part of Dan Tshanda’s stable.
Songs that have mesmerised many include the hit with Dalom Kids Nomathemba and Uwee Uwee (Umqophoqopho).
Under the mentorship of Tshanda, Majalisa released songs from albums like Umona, which have rocked many radio stations in the region.
