The fun-filled event will include sporting games and live band performances from Harare group Retrospex and local hip-hop artiste POY.

DJs who will take turns on the turntables include DJ Dash Zimbabwe, Barry Weber, DJ Spankie, DJ Mac, DJ Ashton and many more.

DJ Dash, real name Lyle Khamal-Bosch, yesterday said: “The event will start in the afternoon with lots of entertaining activities. There will be a soccer and darts tournament and also there will be fun activities for children as it is a family show. The main party starts at night,” DJ Dash said.

He revealed that the show was meant to unite people from different walks of life and encourage them to enjoy summer in a responsible manner.

DJ Dash urged people to come in their numbers.

“I urge Bulawayo revellers to come in their numbers and enjoy the show, games, mixing and mingling with people and also the good music. We would like to provide everything for everybody that’s why we brought in a variety of DJs,” he said.

Hip-hop artiste POY also echoed the same sentiments.

“Everyone is invited to witness the best performance from the DJs and also from me. I will be on fire performing some new tracks from my upcoming album Nothing for Mahala,”

“People should expect to be blown away by the performance as I will be bringing that high energy interactive act for people,” said the award-winning POY.
