The songstress will perform in Bulawayo on November 29 before making a date with the Hwange folk at the Colliery Stadium on December 6.

She will be supported by Mpendulo Dandile, Silindile Mthinyane and Thabile Mazolwane, formerly of the Dan Tshanda Splash stable.

Organisers of the shows, Lussate Marketing, have dubbed Majalisa’s second coming the “Music Explosion”.

“All has been cleared and we are raring to go, music lovers should be ready for an explosion,” Kingstone Lussate, an official of the organising company told Southern Eye Lifestyle yesterday.

“We have titled it ‘Music Explosion’ because we feel that it’s going to a banger and setting people in the festive season mood,” said Lussate, adding that Majalisa was coming as an appeasement to fans after the disappointing cancellation by Dan Tshanda of shows a few months ago.

“We thought of compensating people by bringing in someone of the same genré,” Lussate said.

“The shows will be part of the many shows that we have lined up for Zimbabwe and we promise to lighten up the country this festive season.”

Majalisa performed last month in Bulawayo and Hwange where she put up scintillating performances.

Her songs have mesmerized many, particularly Uwee Uwee and Umqophoqopho.
