LEADING scorer Tendai Ndoro netted his 17th goal of the season as Chicken Inn crushed relegated Tripple B at Dulibadzimu Stadium yesterday.

Tripple B trailed to Moses Jackson, Mkhokheli Dube and Clemence Matawu’s strikes before Ndoro’s customary goal.

Lloyd Chiwaridzo scored a consolation for the hosts.

Chicken Inn remain five points adrift of a top-four finish with two games still to play.

After the match the unbeaten GameCox coach Joey Antipas was happy with the performance of his charges.

“They put up a good performance especially in the first half, but in the second half they reduced the tempo because of the hot temperatures.

“Our target is to win the two remaining games then we will see what position we would finish on,” Antipas said.

Chicken Inn will host Dynamos at Luveve on Sunday.

Tripple B coach Peter Manoti said: “I am happy that the youngsters we are giving game time are doing well. After it was confirmed that we were relegated I started building a team for the future and I foresee a bright future in Division One.

“All the four goals we conceded were a result of defensive blunders, but we played well as a team,” Manoti said.

Jackson opened the floodgates for the visitors after 21 minutes when he headed home a Kudakwashe Mahachi corner-kick.

Dube added the second two minutes later, before Matawu struck a beautifully taken goal 10 minutes before the breather to kill the game as a contest.

Seven minutes after the breather, Ndoro extended his PSL tally to 17 goals when he capitalised on some hesitant defending from the hosts.

Chiwaridzo scored a consolation goal for the home team in the 69th minute with a beautifully taken free-kick after Tripple B youth academy product Shepherd Sithole was fouled by Felix Chindungwe outside the box.

The game was played before a handful of supporters with other fans failing to access entry into the stadium because of hostile security personnel.
