The ten-track album was launched last Wednesday in Bulawayo. Mabhena spoke highly about the album in an interview with Southern Eye Lifestyle.

“We love the album and we hope fans will also do so. We have put together my own style and Bhuku RoMweya’s style to come up with something different, good and catchy,” Mabhena said.

The album features songs such as Tose written by Mabhena.

“Tose talks about how we were all created by one God and people should treat each other in the same way.

“The title track talks about Jesus’ power over the world. It is only Him who walked on water and this shows that He is powerful — and that anything is possible with Him.

“On the album, I led three songs including the one I wrote and it was a great experience,” she said.

Mabhena added that this collaboration will not change the way she delivers her music.

“It is the first time singing this type of music and partnering with Bhuku RoMweya doesn’t mean that I have changed my type of music,” she added.

Bob Tasiya, Bhuku RoMweya’s spokesperson echoed the same sentiments as Mabhena.

“It was good working with Prudence and it really added value to our music. We hope it will go a long way.”

The group consists of 11 members who are affiliated to different churches, but brought together by music.

Mabhena, disabled, made history as she became the first Zimbabwean to be invited to The Oprah Winfrey Show after she was part of the Oscar award-winning documentary titled Music by Prudence in 2010.
