The 2012 Golden Boot winner Nelson Maziwisa, Hwange defender Eric Chipeta, in South Africa for trials with Lamontville Golden Arrows, How Mine’s Khumbulani Banda and Timothy January and Triangle striker Pascal Manhanga, could be playing for the Bulawayo giants next season.

Former players Joel Ngodzo, Welcome Ndiweni and Rahman Kutsanzira are reported to be on the Bosso wish list.

“Bosso want to sign these players for next season. If these players join Bosso, the likes of Master Masitara, Tinashe Chipunza, Beaven Chikaka, Bruce Tshuma, Lawson Nkomo, Bhekimpilo Ncube and Heritein Masuku could be shown the exit door,” a source at the club said.

It is understood that coach Kelvin Kaindu has already agreed to a new deal at the club and has drawn up a list of players as he sets his eyes on the elusive league title which he has lost on goal difference to Dynamos in the last two seasons.

Maziwisa banged in 18 goals in the 2012 season, but was a pale shadow of himself this season as he only managed eight PSL goals.

Now Bosso want to team up Maziwisa with veteran striker Njabulo “Tshiki” Ncube who finished the season with nine goals trailing Mpumalanga Black Aces striker Tendai Ndoro formerly with Chicken Inn, by nine goals.

Ndoro will walk away with the Golden Boot award at the soccer star of the year awards ceremony set for Harare tomorrow night for his outstanding performance this season.

Masitara and Chipunza acquired during the mid-season transfer window period from Botswana, appear to have failed to make a mark at Highlanders and hardly featured since coming on board.

Kutsanzira told Souther Eye Sport last week that he was targeting a move back to Bosso together with Ngodzo who was a darling of Highlanders fans before his departure to Zvishavane.

Ngodzo seems not to have fitted well into FC Platinum and has hardly played as he has mostly been coming in as a substitute.

Banda and January could also opt to stay at How Mine if they prefer to play in the Caf Confederations Cup next season with the Metallon Zimbabwe-sponsored side.

Bosso last won the championship in 2006 under the guidance of Methembe Ndlovu.

However, Bosso’s consolation was winning the Mbada Diamonds Cup after they thrashed How Mine 3-0 in the final.
