The show featured local groups Family Voices and Iyasa who managed to live up to its billing.
Iyasa opened the proceedings and were followed by Family Voices whose a cappella melodies thrilled the crowd.
Mtukudzi was next on stage, with a new-look band that comprised three people, but failed to live up to expectations.
Tuku usually plays with a band that comprises dancers, backing vocalists and several guitarists.
Revellers complained about Tuku’s performance saying it was mediocre with Enock Piroro who was the backing vocalist, appearing the only one who knew what he was doing on stage.
After midnight Sulumani took the stage and he did not disappoint.
