The king of sungura Alick Macheso and the Ochestra Mberikwazvo band will today set the Bulawayo Aphitheatre on fire.

Tafadzwa Maridhadhi, organiser of the gig, said fans were in for a treat this festive season.

After the Bulawayo gig Macheso will perform in the gold mining town of Kwekwe on Friday at Jessie Gardens.

House music fans will be the biggest winners as South Africa-based disc jockey Oskido would be at Stop Over Bar at an event dubbed the “All White Party” where revellers are encouraged to dress in white.

On Friday, Queens Cricket Club will host the mother-of-all festive gigs the “Kalawa Jazmee Homecoming” invasion.

The show will begin in the afternoon and will run until the next day, with a rich line-up of more than 10 Kalawa Jazmee members including Oskido, Doctor Malinga, Professor, DJ Zinhle, Berita, Tony Digital, Candy, Character,Thebe and Pepsi.
